Does the sunflower always look at the Sun?

The answer is of course not. Firstly, before blossom sunflower looks at the sun only during the daytime.

After full blossom sunflower will always look at East. If you observe Un-blossomed sunflower for 24 hours, before sunrise, the flower bud actually looks down. During the sunrise, the flower bud will raise the head and follow the Sun move. During the sunset, the flower bud will bend down the head again and wait for the next sunrise.
